CD Reviews

Extremely Uplifting!
06/23/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I previously owned this CD about five years ago, and I listened to it so much that I wore it out. Now that I have it again, I am grateful. Whenever you need an uplifting, this is the album to listen to. "I Want Your Anointing" is a song for every Christian, expressing how much we need Him in our lives. The voices of the choir are strong, and this album truly touches your heart and soul. It brings tears to my eyes on occasion, when I know that I need Him to bring me Joy (Joy Cometh in the Morning), or I need his touch. I recommend this CD to anyone that loves Gospel music and understands it's meaning."
Should Have Been a Double-Disc

"This Music selection I first heard in 1991 when it was released. I had it on the cassette version. The only trouble with the CD is that all the songs are not in there entirety. The cassette had all the songs from begining to end while this CD has many of the songs fading out before I could hear some of my favorite parts. Some songs were shortened to 3 minutes and even less.

A Cd will only hold about 700MB so it wasn't the fault of the CD makers.

But for someone like me who has been so moved and blessed by this music wants to remember the music like it was when I first heard it. I remember the first time I heard it. I was 11 or 12yrs old and I didn't like gospel choir music unless I was in church.

The music and the singing is very motivating and uplifting.

If this CD was a double CD where the songs could be heard in there entirty like they are on the cassette, it would be even more enjoyable."
