CD Reviews

WOW!!!

"IM GONNA HIT MYSELF THAT IT TOOK ME THIS LOOK TO GET ONTO "DJ SPINNA". I HAD HEARD A FEW TRACKS FROM SPINNA WITH LITTLE BROTHER BUT NEVER REALLY SEARCHED ANY OF HIS CD'S. IM JUST HEARING THIS AND ITS FEB 2007, BUT I GUESS WHEN IT COMES TO CLASSIC HIPHOP, BETTER LATE IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN NEVER. MAN THIS CD IS SICK, THE BEATS IS SICK, THE INSTRUMENTS AND HOOKS IS SICK, THE SAMPLES IS SICK, I NEVER HEARD OF MOST OF THE ARTIST'S ON THIS CD BUT THEY HOLD THEY OWN OVER SPINNA BEATS. WHAT MORE CAN I SAY, SPINNA I AM OFFICALLY A FAN FOR LIFE NOW! COP IT."

"This compilation album is pretty solid. The beats are on point and sound like classic hip hop spinna. It is a collection of the vinyl singles beyond real has put out plus some other cuts made especially for this album. Emcees featured on this include, Guru, Sadat X, Kriminal, Dynas, Shadowman, Mr. Akil(not from J5), Shadowman, and many others. My favorite tracks include, "Stones" which happens to be produced by Nick Fury, "Hey Love" by Mr. Akil, and "spittin" by miami's finest Dynas. Overall this is a good compilation, but i think the packaging could have been a little more layed out. Not bad though, listen for yourself."
