What Happened?

"I've got pretty much all of the Craig Chaquico CD output, and

play it all on regular basis, this is one great guitar player.

What a disappointment Holiday is in comparison to his previous work.

I hope this is just a temporary loss of direction."

Missed Opportunity

"While I truly love his work both Solo and Starship, this was a missed opportunity. Don't get me wrong...this is a great album. His playing is incredible!

Where this misses the mark is that Craig had a "golden opportunity" to create an incredible and imaginative Holiday (Christmas/New Year) CD and he missed the mark. Very little of this CD is going to instill the Holiday Spirit in anyone and that is the bad part. The closing cut is about the only one that comes close.

I don't know if this was a contractual obligation, if Craig doesn't observe or believe much in the holidays or if it was just an oversight that this was missed.

This CD should have showcased his amazing talents and gifts. It should have been the CD that made the holidays warm, cheerful and memorable. But, there is little on this CD to instill that in anyone.

If you just want a CD of nice guitar based tunes. This is GREAT! If you want something to make your holidays more memorable or a soundtrack to your holiday get together, this one misses the mark!"
