"Ok i bought this cd just because i saw it at a yard sale.!! I ended up loving the cd! The cd rocks especially popularity kills, and cliche.I wish i could find more stuff on the band so i could see them live if there still around! If you like Weezer, and other bands like that youd like Coward!!!!"

Excellent band that deserves recognition

"Coward are a very talented, highly overlooked band from Long Island. Their sound is reminiscent of bands like the Cars and Weezer, but the guitars are a bit more punchy. The lyrics are clever, the songs are catchy, and they have the talent to write slow songs like "Wish" that are still engaging and not at all sappy. Most of the album is upbeat and energetic, great for cranking up on your car stereo. They also named one of their songs after the bar in Wantagh that I saw them at ("Mulcahy's"). I only give 5-star reviews if an album remains consistent and every song rocks, and this album is definitely worthy of that rating. Highly recommended to anyone who feels alienated by the current music trends."
