FANTASTIC!

"Yhis boxed set is a MUST for all of Conway Twitty's Rock years, I thought I was one of his biggest fans but there are cuts on here I have never heard. There is one song called "Roaleena" which is the same tune as "Danny Boy" "Danny Boy" was a big hit here but it was not allowed to be released in England because they didn't like the song sang as rock music. There are a lot of unreleased songs on the 8 CD set as well as all the ones that will bring back fond memories, of course, "It's Only Make Believe", "The story of my love (2 versions)" "Mona Lisa" and all your old favorites. It also comes with a large 60 page FACT FILLED book about his early years and some photos that will really bring back the malt shop and drive-in years. I intend to buy another set and put it up because this is the best collection of songs I have ever owned!Gene Brown"
Absolutely unbelievable!

"Boy! I'll tell you folks this box set is outstanding! I highly recommend this for every Conway Twitty fan out there! You will really enjoy hearing his early rock and roll stuff a whole lot and you will notice that he sounds very much like Elvis on some songs such as It's Only Make Believe of course and many others! He even does covers of songs such as Whole Lotta Shaking Going On, Jailhouse Rock, Great Balls Of Fire and many more! These songs are of course long before he switched to country music and you can really hear his Elvis influence on many of these outstanding recordings! I highly recommend it to all Conway fans! Yes, it is pretty expensive but it's worth it. I just love his version of Danny Boy it really rocks! I am so honoured to have every rock and roll recording by Conway I'll tell you. Enjoy!

Sincerely, Maheen."

"Conway's Rock & Roll music is some of my favorite along with Elvis, Gene Vincent, Jack Scott and Carl Perkins. The only thing that could have made this CD box-set better is if they used the same pictures that were used in the LP version from Bear Family several years earlier. The music is GREAT."
