Truly under the skies of Al-Andalus

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I have to tell you that me being an arab I am not at all into Middle Eastern music at all. Having said that there is something about Marcel Khalife's work that touched me in a big way. I came to hear about Khalife whilst watching one of his concerts live on TV, by pure chance i might add, and only for that one time. I made sure it wasn't to be the last i would hear of him. His music can be described as middle eastern music with a mixture of classical music and a hint of Jazz. The blend works very very well. Very soothing and very spiritual to a degree. If you like the works of Paco De Lucia, Feiruz or listen to contemporary classical middle eastern music for that matter, this is definitely something you would want to listen to. I highly recommend."
