"It's a shame that the Communards broke up shortly after the release of their second album "Red" because they truly created a very unique sound.Their self-titled first album is a brilliant mix of sounds from up tempo disco beat in "Don't Leave Me This Way" to a softer quiet haunting ballad of "Reprise". This album features quite a few hits including "Don't Leave Me This Way", "Disenchanted" a powerful song about love and anger, "So Cold the Night" and "You are My World". If you like Jimmy Somerville's solo stuff how can you pass up on his days with the Communards. Jimmy and Richard Cole created a marvelous album here that should not be forgotten."

"Excellent!
For those of you who are fans of the group, this is a MUST buy.
For those who aren't, this is STILL a must buy.
