Doesn't Get Much Better!

"Colin James is somewhat of a chameleon. He has released everything from swing-blues to pop to R&B.On this CD, James, in my opinion, is at his best. He is joined for this all acoustic session by his friend and fellow canadian, Colin Linden ("Through the Storm" and "Raised By Wolves").The song selections are good, mixing some originals with the tunes of Yank Rachell, Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, Robert Johnson and even soul man Sam Cooke. Together, both Colins' guitar playing is excellent and their vocals harmonize and blend well.To date, this is my favorite Colin James CD. If you are looking for some good acoustic playing, this CD should meet your needs."
A Must Have Album.

"I have enjoyed the musical journey of this great Canadian guitarist over many years. I was finally able to catch Colin in concert in Moncton NB in the fall of 99. What a treat! Colin's musical exploration from album to album would make a natural double bill with another chameleon Canadian act Blue Rodeo. I don't know why he chooses not to tour more extensively, but I'm sure if he did something like the 'house of blues' in Chicago etc. he would develop a larger North American following. I want to single out my favorites on this album, but that would be unfair as there isn't a single dud in the lot. All of the songs are done with talent & soul. Quite simply a great album to kick back with friends and cold drinks on a hot summer's evening. If you appreciate listening to a musician in harmony with his guitar like SRV then look no further Colin James. This is a must have album for any lover of great guitar picking with the vocals to match."
This is a fantastic recording from a great artist.

"I've listended to this cd every day for about a month now and just keeps getting better. Quite a bit toned down from his big band and blues-rock recordings but the music is great and the import price is worth every penny."
