PORTER GETTING THE RAGTIME TREATMENT

"Piano rolls are a matter of taste.I can spend hours listening to them,but i know many people get tired after a few minutes.This is a record one can play over and over again.If the whole collection has the same clean sound,i just hope that all the composers will be featured.Each piano player gets a little fancy with the tunes,but that's why it's so enjoyable.What a difference between the intellectual jazzy approach in the jazz piano essentials collection which i personnaly hate and this,a recording done for pure listening pleasure.My only problem is that my father stole it from me.Oh well!i'll get another copy."
