CD ReviewsGuide to a new music underground 04/29/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "This is a collection of VA mostly from the LA pop music scene. These bands play clubs such as the Roxy and get airplay on radio stations such as KROQ. All of the songs on this compilation are very danceable. For those not familiar with the Pop scene, this music is reminiscent of late Punk/ early New Wave, with out the heavy synthesizers; bands such as: ABC, Missing Persons, Blondie, XTC, Berlin, etc.I like ALL of the songs on this CD; I recommend it for all those who like to dance."
