Paris, Texafrance is the third in Christine Albert's series of Franco-Lone Star fusion. She grew up listening to her French/Swiss mother speak her native language, but came of age playing music in New Mexico and Texas. Paris, Texafrance finds her voice more mature and the acoustic band, led by producer/multi-instrumentalist Chris Gage, provides the perfect bed for her intimate delivery. Upright bass, grand piano, guitar, mandolin and cello weave in and out of songs from Edith Piaf, Charles Trenet and Jesse Winchester, with English and French getting equal time throughout.
