88 Keys and the SwingKats have blown out of Atlanta, Georgia, taking hold of the Southeastern USA. The decade of the 90's has been a non-stop ride for this pioneer band of the East Coast Swing movement. Features Chandler's trademark "Memphis Horn"-style arrangements with a driving rhythm section led by "88 Keys" aka Chris Chandler on piano and lead vocals. This CD includes eight horn-driven "jump swing/jump blues" Chandler originals, like "Swing Fever" and "Ballad of 88 Keys." Also included is the little known tune "Mexico Joe" and a never before released Johnny Mercer tune, "Quiereme Y Veras," that has a cool Latin-jazz feel.
