"Desirable adjectives for any pianist who intends to win with Chopin . The demanded fierce of certain studies for instance the twelve op. 25 must be compensated for the sublime nuance of the seventh of the same opus .

Francois blends wisely that aristocratic refinement and the epic vigor with a supreme articulation and unbeatable crescendos . His arpegios and pianissimos are unique , scrupulously thought and convincing without that vulgar effectism trademark of certain and well reknown pianists in the actual times .

Poetry , reflexive intensity and dark lyricism are some of the most important features in his playing .

This may be one your best buy of the year ; if you have not heard them , please go and find it as soon as you can .
