"Charlie Morris is a Blues artist from the Tampa Bay area, but he seems to spend most of his time on the road these days. As I understand it, he splits his time between Florida, Tennessee and Switzerland.



Topical subject matter with plenty of references to gambling, drinking and womanizing, burning guitar and keyboard riffs and a popping rhythm section all make up the ingredients for a fantastic Blues record. This is Charlie's fifth CD and in my opinion, his best one yet. Perhaps it is the maturity that comes with playing as a traveling Blues artist for so many years, or maybe it is the combination of great songs and a really tight band, but whatever it is, Charlie really delivers the goods this time. He continues to showcase his guitar playing prowess as well as his ability to write and sing some very clever lyrics. From the slide-driven "Got Greedy," about our relentless thirst for oil to the zany "That's What She Said" that is sure to bring a smile, this CD is a welcome addition to any Blues fan's album collection."
