"...I own this album and it's fantastic to hear the music of this much neglected Swedish composer... Berwald lived from 1796 to 1868 and is through and through a Romantic composer. His four symphonies are quite inventive and his piano concerto in D Major is very exciting indeed. This poor guy never got the recognition he deserved in his lifetime, and it's high time people took notice if only to show that Sweden has produced some very fine composers."
