CD Reviews

Great remake

"Great remake of song previously done by Cyndi Lauper who took it to #6 in May of '89."
Great song, but who would want to buy this single!!!

"It seems like her record company doesn't really want to promote Celine via releasing CD single. Celine doesn't have much success in the single chart recently. Whose fault is that? Well if they release a single months (or weeks) after the song became a hit, or if the song selection on the single was terrible, who would buy the single!! If you remember the success of "That's the way it is" in US billboard chart (the song climbed to #21 just by airplay), and the record company released a double A-sided single of this song months later, and they did it again this time for "I drove all night". In UK, they always like to release her single in 3 tracks format - the hit's regular version, plus 2 older songs. I won't bother to buy those kind of single. As another reviewer pointed out, the single will become more appealing if they would put a remix version of the hit, or the instrumental or radio editied version on the single. Be generous to her fans! Be creative!!"
Another great single by Celine Dion but....

"My review has nothing to do with the quality of the song. Both songs on this CD single are great however...why release a single months after the album is put out? Why didn't the record company release this single before the album was put out? Anybody who purchased the One Heart CD already has these two songs. The should have included a remix or two on the single to make it more appealing."
