2005 version of her debut solo album (now replaced with a slightly amended and reworked 2006 re-issue) Cass sang and co-wrote ?Touch Me? with producer Rui Da Silva, and the single topped the UK charts early in 2001, selling some 300,000 copies. However Cass left to pursue a sound that really reflected who she is. It was a brave decision, and the right one on the basis of her fabulous debut single, 'Out of My Reach'. Cass?s Irish roots are displayed most clearly on 'Daddy Dear', a Celtic-flavored dance number that points to a troubled upbringing. For the most part Come Here moves comfortably from folk ('Save Me') to soul ('Live A Little'), while the closing song, 'Army of One', even recalls a post- dance Annie Lennox.
