CD ReviewsBel canto cannot sound better thah here! Gonzalo Tello | LIMA, PERU | 09/28/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "Carlos Alvarez is a singer i met a few years ago. saw his Macbeth at Liceu, and saw Puritani and Macbeth again on DVD. His voice is full of vibrance, color and force, i would say.
The orchestra sounds amazing, and the interpretation is exciting. You feel like you want to applause at the end of each scene. The repertoire was chosen well. I love Devereux and Falstaff the most. Onegin and Stifellio are sung magnificently too. You can hear as well Traviata, DOn Carlo, Carmen,Puritani and Favorite. What can i say, dont wanna sound stupid, but i'm relly hooked with this album. =)" |
