This music would get me in trouble by hanging out later then my curfew to listen to the "older guys" singing wherever they could find an echo. Take away the electronics of today and I wonder if the sound would be as pure as the Capris. A sound that will never die." Along with the Earls, the Capris have captured the best of the white group sound in harmony. I grew up with doo wop in New York and the Capris belong right up there with the best. Their song "There's a Moon Out Tonight is a doo wop classic."
