CD Reviews

Weird and Wonderful
Pieter | Johannesburg | 11/25/2002
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is one of the most truly weird records in my collection. It sounds like a cross between the New York electronic experimentalists Suicide, the legendary Residents and Daniel Miller's obscure band The Normal. The voice, sounding like it's filtered through a vocoder or something, reminds me of the voice on "Semolina" by The Residents, but the mixes are quite appealing at the same time because of the engaging melody. This isn't everybody's cup of tea, but if you're into electronic or industrial experimental music, you'll love it! Definitely a classic of the genre."
