My Favorite Britney Spears Song!
Kollision | California | 10/12/2003
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Hi viewers,

This is my favorite Britney Spears song. I really like her music and when I heard this it took my heart. The vocals are really good and I love the piano in the background. If you hear this in the movie it has a really big impact. I believe that everyone should listen to this song if they are a Britney fan and even if they are not. Its a really emotional song to me and I hope that other people like it. And I am a guy and I like this so everyone can, not just the girls lol. So what are you waiting for? Listen to some samples hehe. Bye! and thx for viewing this message!"
I'm Not A Girl Not Yet A Woman - Britney gets all grown-up!
Busy Body | London, England | 02/01/2003

"After the success of her previous two singles - I'm A Slave 4 U and Overprotected - Britney Spears returned with I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman, the third single to be taken from her third album, titled Britney. The song became a huge hit and peaked at No.2 in the UK - Britney's biggest single in the UK since Oops!...I Did It Again almost two year previously. There was a lot of hype surrounding Britney at this time of her career. She had just split with her boyfriend Justin Timberlake in what has to be one of the most high profile break-ups in the history of showbusiness. Her film debut, Crossroads was also released three days before this song came out. Britney was all over magazine and newspaper covers after she "snubbed" fans at the London premiere of Crossroads. She was even on the national news - all it was around those weeks was Britney, Britney, Britney! All this hype and the huge success of the film resutled in I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman becoming a huge hit - not only in the UK, but all over Europe. Teenage girls seemed to react to the song in a very personal way. I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman was written by Max Martin and Rami, with a little help from Dido. The result was undoubtedly Britney's all-time best ballad. The song is simple in the way Britney's voice is very natural and clear - unlike her voice on songs such as Stronger and I'm A Slave 4 U. The main instrument that accompanies the song is the piano - simple yet highly effective. "I used to think I had the answers to everything," sings Britney. This song only strengthed the point Britney was trying to get across; that she's now growing up and can't be something she's not to her fans. Track 2 on this CD single is the Spanish Fly Remix (Radio Edit) of I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman. Overall, this is a sueprb remix and definitely one of Britney's best. This remix is shorter than the actual song, which is unusual for a remix. The remix has a very summery feel to it and really relaxes you. Track 3 is I Run Away. This is another mid-tempo pop ballad that was said to have been not good enough for the Britney album...how can they say this?! This song is absolutely amazing and so emotional. The song has a hint of Before The Goodbye to it which makes it very futuristic - I love it. Overall, this is another essential Britney CD single for all you die-hard fans out there. Buy it now from Amazon.com!"

"Personaly i believe that not a girl is the best ballad of britney ever, her vocals are really amazing, i just love her, and the bonust track call run away is good, i don't now why she didn't put it in her album, so if you are a britney fan go and buy it."
