Incredible Photos! (oh yeah, and some music too...)

(4 out of 5 stars)

"A "luxurious" package indeed. This book-style CD release is well worth the price for the photos alone... many pages of lovely full color portraits of B.B. from all phases of her career and in various stages of undress... The music is basically vintage French bubblegum pop/bossa/loungey stuff... there's even a duet with Serge Gainsbourg (no photos of him included). Her voice is actually quite pleasant, and all the songs are sung in sultry French, "la langue d'amour"... do you really need another reason to buy this? Brigitte, Toujours Brigitte!"
Just the best....

"This CD really covers a lot of good ground. Very gay songs all of them, even though BB's voice adds a lot of sultriness at times, she's still very playful. The actress in her comes out well in these songs. She sounds so young...The music itself is even entertaining, skipping that BB sings it. Upbeet numbers, more "loungy" than the new "lounge" music out there- this stuff is the real deal with as much substance as that style can possibly have. This is jsut a plain all-around entertaining CD!This item is actually also little hardcover book in french about BB; about 15 pages long with a significant amount of text- loads of pictures that span her career and "looks."I bought it for the "Camp" to it but was wrong; it's actually just plain good! While it's a good party album, it's also good to actually listen to."
