Fantastic Way Cool Fiddler

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I just heard this fantastically cool album. I'm a Fiddler and I wish I could play like Bonnie Rideout. On the first track of this recording, Bonnie Rideout starts out with a really cool strathspey and she slowlly heats up into an awesome fast reel.Like all of her previous albums, she kept me interested untill the very last track, which is always her best. On this album she ends with another solo fiddle track that I can't wait to learn. If anyone is ever into THE REAL THING, they should get this CD......for sure!!!!!"

"An American musician who does the Scottish fiddle tradition proud -- Bonnie Rideout delivers. This album delivers the whole package -- the lyricism of Alasdair Fraser, the drive of Natalie MacMaster, and the eclecticism of Capercaillie (the more roots-oriented of their work) -- this is a great album."
