"WHAT IS THE BEST BOB DYLAN ALBUM? THAT IS AN IMPOSSIBLE QUESTION TO ANSWER, 'CAUSE THE MAN IS A POET AND HE HAS WRITTEN SO MUCH GREAT MUSIC. BUT "BLOOD ON THE TRACKS" IS A HEARTFELT EFFORT, TRULY INSPIRED. AFTER KIND OF FALLING OFF THE MAP FOR AWHILE, DYLAN CAME OUT WITH THIS GREAT OFFERING IN THE MID 70'S. HE SEEMS TO HAVE REDISCOVERED HIMSELF ON THIS ALBUM. IT'S GREAT FROM BEGINNING TO END. ESSENTIAL BOB DYLAN RECORDING."
