Released on LP as "Live at Sandy's," this 1978 set finds Brookmeyer in typical, lyrical form--the musical mind evident in the construction of the solos, story-telling as genius. The mastering is quite good, not copied from the LP. Such a balanced, quiet and fiery musical statement. First volume has been around on DC Jazz. Hope there's more!! Don't miss Brookmeyer live either; he hasn't lost a step."
