Synopsis

Product Description
Worship. Rock. Techno(logy).Three words that don t seem to fit very easily into the same sentence. Its just as well we aren t confined to sentences. The music of Bluetree is an experience. This experience may well be loud, bold and energetic. It may also be soft and so quiet you can hear the heart beat of the person beside you . You may be blown away by the powerful thud of the kick drum or the hypnotic wail of the electric guitars. However, if this is all you experience then your time with us may very well have been wasted. Through all the noises and beats, all the melodies and harmonies, what we want you to experience is the overwhelming presence of God. We want you to forget the lights, the stage and the hundreds of people around you. Forget the sound system that is assaulting your body with so much bass you feel like your being punched in the chest. We invite you to lose yourself in worship. Worship of the Almighty.

CD Reviews

1st Album in a long time I listened to over and over

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I am a self proclaimed "Music Junkie" who buys on the average 5 albums across all genres every week. I love Christian music but have been really disappointed in what has been put out lately. I had come across Bluetree earlier in the week and they sparked my interest to make a note of them but not enough to make the purchase. When I saw they were on the $5 list this week I decided to take a chance. WOW! This is the first album I has purchased in a long time that I have been compelled to listen to over and over again as well as tell others about it. The lyrics are contemplative and the music is intoxicating. It kind of reminds me of the style of Jimmy Eat World. After listening to it I immediately emailed the Music Minister at my place of worship to tell him about them. Not since the first Casting Crowns album have I been this excited about a new Christian Artist. This is definitely something to buy now!"
AWESOME, and Mind blowing!

"When Delirious announced that they were finished making music I was so sad. They were the most different band I had ever heard that praised and worshiped God unlike anyone before. Then I heard God of this City from this group on Klove on 27 MAR 09, this song blew me away. I had heard God of this City by Chris Tomlin and love it. I think that I love this version better. That is very hard to top. Back to my thoughts about Delirious. Well Delirious was the most different worship group I had ever heard. Now comes this new group Bluetree from nowhere and I am blown away. I think of them as Delirious part 2. They are the new generation of this worship that is hardcore but absolutely God honoring that you just fall in front of God and say Wow. You are so amazing and I just want to worship you all day and night long. This new group is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I would give this album a 200 stars if I could. Please get it and experience God in the most intimate and Wonderful Way. Thank you Bluetree. You are my new Favorite Group. I can't wait for the next album!!!!"
Ready for something different?

"This album feels quite fresh in a time where music can often sound over=produced and formulated. Especially worship music. If you're looking for some great God-centered music that doesn't sound typical or packaged, this is for you. Bluetree breaks that mold from the first track. Eclectic noises of "Life's noise" with some scripture (whoa, Scripture!) to lead to the first song, which is a powerful song describing how God speaks in the stillness in Isaiah.

Bluetree has a distinctly enjoyable sound. Hailing from Belfast, Northern Ireland, this worship band shows great depth and diversity from The song they are known best for, the title track made famous by Chris Tomlin, "God of this City", to the more upbeat "God's Plan", to the quite reflective and powerful "When I Survey".

For full price, this album is definitely worth it, and it's a steal for Five bucks!"
