CD Reviews

If you like the blues bothers this is a must have
Dierkes | Missouri ,USA | 01/02/2009
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This album is great buy the music form the movie and more. Being a 2 disc set and 30 plus tracks you get big names like Aretha Franklin,Ray Charles,Cab Calloway and James Brown. At a time when the blues were almost part of the past Jake and Elwood brought the blues back in to the light of a younger crowd and for many generations to come.

It's 4 stars only because i think in needs 2 more tracks. Stand by your man (Tammy Wynette hit) from the country bunker and The girl form ipanema from the elevator ride to the tax collectors office."
The Best of the Blues Brothers cds

(5 out of 5 stars)

"There are many albums put out by the Blues Brothers but this one is the best that features the music from the movie. In my opinion the soundtrack is the best soundtrack ever (a close 2nd is Pulp Fiction).

Minnie the Moocher, Sweet Home Chicago and Everybody Needs Somebody are three of the highlights of the cd. I am not a fan of the Blues but I really enjoyed this album and everytime I put it on it brings a smile to my face. This is one album that will have you tapping your feet."
Blues Brothers at their best! Excellent collection!
