It wasn't officially Christmastime until Mom put it on the record player and we heard the opening notes of Noche de Paz (a song we kids came to call "Bing Bong" because of those initial guitar notes). Los Panchos are fabulous and Eydie is, as always, completely brilliant. Together they make incredible music, and Blanca Navidad deserves a place as one of the all-time great Christmas albums. You don't have to understand Spanish to appreciate each and every beautifully crafted song. Give it a listen and I have no doubt it will become a part of your own holiday tradition."
