"I KNEW the Motown sessions would NEVER be available on CD. Just KNEW it.

Here they are.

If I had one complaint....the low end is a little hot...but, hey...turn the bass down.

"Some things work together, some thing don't! Which is what happened here....During the years Billy Eckstine was with Motown, they (Motown) was having some of their biggest hits in the history of the company! Great for Motown, Bad for Billy Eckstine. Although he did recorded 3 Excellent album for the company....Motown just didn't know what to do with him. Now if you want to surprise someone who into Billy Eckstine THIS is the one! Wonderful Strings, Top Notch Arrangements, Etc., Of the Unreleased Tracks, Let's just say they several of them just wouldn't have fit on the 'Original' Albums because they (Motown) did try to push these cuts that ALL clearly have the 'Motown Sound' throughtout on Mr. B., but it wasn't working, but they are very interesting to hear where they (Motown) was trying to take Billy Eckstine. Overall Find it! Buy it!"
