Vocalist and harmonica player Billy C Farlow joined Commander Cody s Lost Planet Airmen in 1969 when they relocated to San Francisco to record their first album. This 2CD set follows Billy C s story from his beginnings in Detroit where he formed his first serious band THE SUNSHINE who became the only white band of note in the area. The story continues with Billy C playing with legendary Butterfield Blues Band drummer Sam Lay and then leaps forward to post Airmen recordings including studio tracks with the Creedence Clearwater rhythm section Stu Cooke and Doug Clifford and concludes with some live on the road tracks.
