Formerly one of the directors of Providence Tango and the founder of the Tango Jam, Ben Bogart is currently living in Buenos Aires where he studies Bandoneon under the renowned bandoneonist and orchestra leader Rodolfo Mederos. Through the provision of educational materials, instruction, as well as Tango music resources, Ben continues to be an important figure in the already growing revival of live tango music. The Gatos Azules are a collection of musicians dedicated to reviving the Golden Age of Argentine Tango. This, their first album, shows their ability to do just that.
