Synopsis

Album Description
Somewhere between Jamiroquai, Brand New Heavies and Incognito: a dangerous cocktail of creative, sophisticated funk
-Montreal International Jazz Festival 98 ...Inspired by the likes of the Brand New Heavies, Stevie Wonder and Jamiroquoi, Belizbeha not only cuts tracks with hip-hop flavor thanks to MC Fattie Bumballattie, but they also go velvety smooth and sweetly sophisticated thanks to the excellent vocal stylings of divas Shauna Antoniuc and Kadiatou sibi (Whenver Shes Around). The result pays off as the cool beats (invisible), amazing rhythms (inhibitions) and tireless vocals meld together to make a quite noteworthy album...

CD Reviews

ONE OF THE BEST!!
J. Fields | Maine | 06/12/2001
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I saw these guys live in Portland, ME on New Years Eve 1999. They blew my husband and I away and we've been listening to this CD ever since. INCREDIBLE!!!Kadi's voice is stunning and Fattie can rap with the best of them. I hear they broke up.... I hope it's not true."
B to the E-L-I-Z-B, E-to the H to the A OK?

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Going to college in Burlington, Vermont has one big perk of being right in the home city of Belizbeha. These guys have a permanent spot in my CD changer. Phat jazzy, funky beats interspersed with angelic harmonies and some smooth acid jazz like rapping from my man fatty B, a must for any jazz/funk fan. Not to mention the countless live shows I have scene, they tear the roof off."
One of B-Town's Finest

"These VT cats were off the hook, and I'm not just saying that because they're from my home state. I'm sorry to see them go. They will definately be missed. But, Fatty B is in another group called "Eye Oh You." They are straight up B-town Hip Hop, featuring Fatty B and Konflik on the mics and DJ A-Dog. They are definately putting Vermont on the Hip Hop map. So, I highly recommend checking them out...although, I'm not sure when they're coming out with an album."
