Wonderful version of the Septet! Well deserving of a listen!

"The transcription of the Septet to a Trio for Clarinet, Piano and Cello has so much more color than the original composition for seven instruments. As odd as that may sound, I, for some reason, and it must be the performance here, am completely won over and sold on Opus thirty-eight as a Clarinet/Piano/Cello Trio. The warmth and vitality put forth is remarkable, here as well as the lesser known Reis piece. I recommend this CD without any reservation. The price adds even more of an impetus for you to buy this and treat yourself to some fantastic music making. Enjoy!"
