Review from Ann Elizabeth Schlegel - Painting Each Day

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I purchased this cd several months ago and I simply cannot get enough of it. I have an art studio at the Banana Factory where we celebrate First Friday. Every First Friday I am playing this incredible cd. I have had SO many people ask me to write down the musician and name of the cd. At least two or three every week. I have other Beegie Adair cds, but this is my favorite.

Her fingers glide over the piano keys with standard hits like 'I'll Take Manhattan' and 'Where or When' ... and finishing with 'My Funny Valentine'. Her piano is complemented with brushes on the drums and an upright bass. This cd is perfect for that upscale dinner party, cocktail party or just to stay home and create a wonderful meal to a perfect cd.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would !!!!"
Rich, full, smooth, clean, tasteful. Perfect easy listening.

"I have almost all of her CDs. At least 2-3 are always in my car CD player. It's perfect background music. She has a rich, full style that includes enough improv to make it interesting, but not so much that you can't tell what the piece is. Most of her music is from the big band era, my personal favorite, and her style complements that genre perfectly."

"I have never replied or taken the time to praise a product, but the recordings of Beegie Adair are the best. In years of collecting I have never found an artist one can listen to day after day and not tire until I heard her recordings in a U.S. Post office. We play them continiously at home and the office. I have 7 of her CD,s, 3 on backorder and am ordering more! Fantastic!"
