"this album was released in 1959, during the time when Castro was first coming to power in Cuba. It is great Cuban Orchestrated music, which gives you a flavor of what it must have sounded to sit in a nightclub in Havana when Cuba was a tourist mecca. Good music stands the test of time, and this still sounds great."
