"Anyone who loves hard driving rock and roll would do themselves a favor by buying this cd. This band is realitivly unknown, but rocks with the best of them. An outstanding album."
Bang! deserves a listen by any fan of 70s Hard Rock

"Mother is not the no-prisoners-taken heavy metal hard rock assault that Bang is. Mother heads off into something of a pop rock vein as the boys explore more than the Marshall-stack-on-max of the Bang disc. HOWEVER Mother has two songs that make the disc a worthwhile purchase for the fan of hard rock: Idealist/Realist & Keep On. Idealist/Realist maintains the Bang assault. For all I know it would have been on the Bang disc but they ran out of time (according to drummer/lyricist Tony they only had two weeks to write the entire Bang disc). On Idealist/Realist Frankie discovers the wah padal and it sounds like he is using it with a flanger. Keep On could be described as heavy funk, funk metal or maybe hard funk. Buy this disc and listen, you'll understand. Humble & Tomorrow round out the harder edged tunes. The most surprising aspect of this disc is how well Frank sings. His screaming on the Bang disc gave very little chance for Frank to showcase his voice. I listened to these bands during the 70s: Mountain, Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, Led Zep, Black Sabbath, BTO & early Rush so my hard rock pedigree is right up there with yours."

"I gotta be one of the only people left on planet Earth who has this disc on both CD and LP. Bang were way ahead of their time and what great rockers. So sad they were never discovered by the public and what an opportunity for anyone to pick up this disc. Do it. However, I am also one of the only people left on planet Earth who also has Bang's first album (self-titled: BANG) on both CD and record album. It is their best album and Mother/Bow to the King is their second best. They had a third album but I no longer have it and I recall that it wasn't so hot. Anyway......good stuff here......don't miss it."
