So it is not surprising that there are many artists who have recorded his piano music, including Eugene List, Ivan Davis, Alan Marks, Alan Mandel, and Cecile Licad. But I like this one the best. Lewin simply plays each piece as written. The tempos are moderate. The music is played cleanly. The selection of pieces is excellent. And the overall effect is marvellous."
