Hanssler Bach Cantatas Vol 9, 98.860. 20 page booklet contains notes, texts, and translations in German and English. Helmuth Rilling conducts his Bach Ensemble (consisting of Gachinger Kantorei Stuttgart, Bach-Collegium Stuttgart, and Wurttemberg Chamber Orchestra) in Bach's Cantatas 112 Der Herr ist mein getreuer Hirt (The Lord is Now my Shepherd True), and 30 Freue dich, erloeste Schar (Joyful Be, O Ransomed Throng). Cantata 112 was composed for Misericordias Domini Sunday, April 8, 1731; soloists in this recording are Inga Nielsen, soprano; Gabriele Schreckenbach, alto; Aldo Baldwin, tenor; and Walter Heldwein, bass. Cantata 30 was composed for St. John's Feast Day, June 24, 1738. Soloists in this recording are Constansa Cuccaro, soprano, Mechthild Georg, alto; Aldo Baldwin, tenor, and Philippe Hutenlocher, bass.
