R &B with reggae & jazz

"A very good but not great album. The R&B and jazz elements of the album work very well. "Your Love Is A Miracle" is classic AWB. It has an infectious low groove due in a large part to Steve Ferrone's drumming. Alan Gorrie's voice is soulful and the hide-n-seek horns laid out by the Dundee Horns is excellent. The remake of "Daddy All Gone" is very bluesly and the guitar solo by Cornell Dupree is right on the mark. There are three instrumentals, the best being a 20 minute version of "Pick-Up The Pieces." One would think a 20 minute of "Pick-Up The Pieces" would be too long. However, it stays fresh from the first minute to the last thanks to an all-star cast of jazz greats. The only song that doesn't work is the title-cut "Warmer Communication." While the song is a nice experiment in reggae, it doesn't work for me."
