Great Cd, So Much Talent on this CD! Buff1 is a great rapper. 14kt is an amazing producer. This cd also has Haircut (AKA Mayer Hawthorne) who is doing amazing things these days. You really can't go wrong with this cd.

"Wow, Athletic Mic Leagues took it off at different angles with this album. If you are looking for something that is different that makes you either get into a zone, or just mellow out and smoke a blunt to, then this is the CD. Their albums is one of my favorites, you should check out "Sweats and Kicks" that is an amazing CD. I've been addicted to their lyrics since I heard that CD, you can listen to it over and over just like "Jungle Gym Jungle". Just buy them there a great investment. ~AML~"

"Jungle Gym Jungle is a truly dynamic cd. There's no one "sound" that dominates JGJ. Creativity pours out of every single song...every single verse. Topics of the songs run the gamut of what life has been for the members of AML ....dealing with women, making their mark in hip hop, embracing purpose etc. There's an overarching theme of recognizing and overcoming life's obstacles, but the incorporation of that theme is done so well that you don't feel like you're being preached to or hit over the head with a message mallet. Just about anybody can relate to something on JGJ. There are light hearted songs like Team Player 2 and songs like Jungle Gym which are more intense. Besides stellar lyrics (which seriously verge on genius at some points) there is also amazing production. These guys are really stepping out and making bold, creative moves production-wise. Lastersteps has a CRAZY beat. It's so refreshing to hear something that is truly unique. Heartless is one of my favorites. The lyrics, the hook and the rhythm just meld perfectly. There are songs with heavy bass lines, songs laced with vocals, songs with a mellow feel...this is a very textured cd. Like all great art, JGJ has many layers and it's up to each individual to take from it what he or she will."
