Great Music -- but it's available for between $30-$40, inste

"This is great music (and has the fastest version of 'Tiger Rag' I think Art Tatum ever did), but I've seen THREE resellers charging over $300 for this.

As of 2008, it is still in print from TWO CD labels.

- Art Tatum - The Standard Transcriptions (Music & Arts CD-919)

- Art Tatum - The Standard Transcriptions (Storyville STCD8260/61)

You might have difficulty finding either version from Amazon or any other mainstream source, but they ARE currently available from the labels themselves for $30-$40.

A simple search of either 'Storyville Records' or 'Music & Arts Programs of America' should get you to each label's website. Or search out the UPC codes -- 017685091926 and 717101826025

The more expensive Storyville version (from Denmark) is reported to have better sound.

Buyer beware...."
