The CD combines two 10" LP's that saw limited distribution. It also provides material by the underecorded Joe Gordon, a Boston trumpet player who is mainly known for his work in the Shelly Manne group. Joe plays with fire on the two dates one with Gigi Gryce and the other with Charlie Rouse sharing the front line. Strongly recommended."
