The League Rules All Of Punk!
01/27/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"It's loud, it's obnoxious, it's obscene... It's the League! Most famous in the States for causing Metallica to record "So What", this band really needs some more exposure. Their songs are catchy and sometimes downright funny. This set is amazing. It's got all the classics. From The tender love song "Woman" to the anthem "I Hate People". The first disc is all studio tunes, Truely classics all of them. The second disc is completely live, and most of which are newly released (at least to my ears). Everything you could want is here, from "Wreck-A-Nowhere" to "F#@k Around the Clock". "So What" is even included. The only thing wrong with this collection is the omission of two great live songs, the Leagues version of the Rolling Stones classic "Paint It Black" and Del Shannon's "Runaway". All in all however this is a great set and is a must for any fan of classic punk."
