........From The Heart

"I was searching for an R&B album that was a mix of upbeat, but also soulful, songs and I happened to land Another Level. The opening of the album starts out with the very upbeat "Be Alone No More" with guest rappers adding to the already great song. This is a great starter song and opens up the album well. The album continues to grind out "summer jam" songs like "Bomb Diggy" and "Summertime" but as the album goes on, it gets much deeper. "From The Heart" really digs emotion in the group and the song as only Another Level can muster. The next ones are sung well as the group gets a little more cocky becoming more direct singing "That Girl belongs To Me" and "I Guess I Was A Fool" channels the album to a finish. They really don't fool anyone as you can see right through to their soulful caring hearts....."
Really good!

"Another Level is a english soul-pop group. They are all vocally talented and their music is very good, the lyrics and great and so is the sound and the hooks in most songs. This is their debut Cd and it's full of hit songs. I bought this one but actually it's not the same as this. No this one is a mix of their first and second cd including some more hits like "Summer Time" with TQ "Bomb Diggy" and "From the heart" from the Notting Hill movie which is a ballad. Some songs from the first Cd are ofcourse missing however it wasn't any of the single releases. One song i miss here is "The Rain" an exellent soul song. "Freak Me" is one of the better, it's a cover of the Silk song and sounds almost the same, but with their great voices it doesn't matter. "Be Alone No More" is a catchy pop-soul song together with Jay-Z. Then we got "I guess i was a fool" more of a ballad perhaps but very good compared to most ballads these days. "I want you for myself" is also damn good. Most songs are good, and this album is highly recommended."
