"These sides aren't nearly as juicy as her verves for she had not really strted using her voice as an instument yet, and she wasn't improvising as much as she wound in a few years, yet these recordings are histoical and enjoyable as well. Her voice always was appealing(and still is to this day) therefore all of her reissues are worth picking up, especially the verve reissues. However this cd has some spectacular songs such as the swinging "Malaguena." Definately recommended to jazz and swing buffs and fans of Anita."
