"These are the first songs Anita O'Day recorded as a leader, without Gene Krupa or Stan Kenton. O'Day is in early prime form for these late 40's jazz oriented combo sessions, she swings, scats, and improvises throughout. This is the period right before she would record her juicy Verves, very historical and enjoyable music. Recomended to jazz, swing, and Anita O'Day buffs."
