Synopsis

Product Description
Agent 22's classic first album now with four previously unreleased tracks and all new mixes and mastering for dramatically improved sound quality. Agent 22 blends elements of rock, jazz and world music to create something that is both highly intelligent yet very accessible. It is music that will draw you in on first listen, yet keep you coming back for more as you discover additional nuances. This all instrumental outing features Tom Griesgraber on Chapman Stick, Jimmy Patton playing "dual tapped guitars" and Ryan Moran on drums and percussion. The Stick, played by Griesgraber is a hybrid of guitar, bass and synths with twelve strings that are played in both hands with something more like a piano technique. Patton uses a similar technique to play two guitars simultaneously and Moran completes the trio with a host of various drums and world percussion. The talents of Agent 22's members have been catching the attention of the music industry since the original release of this self titled debut. Tom Griesgraber has toured the US and Europe with Bert Lams of the California Guitar trio, as a duo with drummer Jerry Marotta and as an opener for the California Guitar Trio, The Tony Levin Band and many others as well as having done several performances for the Grammys. Drummer Ryan Moran has toured world wide with the bands Slightly Stoopid and The B-Side Players and guitarist Jimmy Patton won Guitar Center's national guitar competition beating out over 3000 guitarists from around the US.
