CD Reviews

Always fun

(5 out of 5 stars)

"This might not be Afroman's best album (that would, in my opinion, be "4ro:20"), but it's still great. It's funny and the beats are tight. There are some hilarious spoofs of Beyonce ("I know all about you") and Black Eyed Peas ("My chunk"), and a reply to a snitch ("PoBitch"), making this the only Afroman album with any real "anger" to it. My only complaint is that maybe he overdid the "Met a girl in..." jokes; there are about 5 songs that are reduced to lists of girls and places, with some sort of wordplay about sex. Still, Afroman is the best and most overlooked rapper working today. You're average 50 Cent album has 5 decent tracks, and then 15 fillers, Afroman has yet to make one single filler track on ANY of his records. If you already know and like him Buy This! If you haven't made the acquaintance start with "4ro:20" or "The good times"."
