FLOWERS FOR THE MILLENIUM!
05/04/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Well,it's time to give it up to ACE OF BASE, again! They have proved, yet again, that they make the best albums....EVER! This album goes a bit more indepth than Cruel Summer. That's why I absolutely adore it! The four different trax show you the cool Euro. sides to AOB. The different versions of Donnie and He Decides make me all wet inside. ESPECIALLY HE DECIDES! Jenny Berggren, who's finally in the light where she belongs, proves that she can sing better than anyone in her path. Linn also does a great job on Every Time It Rains. In all, this is the soundtrack to our past, present, and future!"
THE BEST YET!!!

"This album is the best work of Ace of Base yet. Remember the days of "The Sign" and "Don't Turn Around", back when Ace of Base made songs following the same drumbeat in every song? Well, If that annoyed you, I promise you that after listening to songs like "Life Is A Flower", "Doctor Sun", "Captain Nemo", "Cecilia", "I Pray", and "Always Have, Always Will", you will see what a variety there is in this album, no two songs are alike, that is one thing that makes it so special. It is very unique, and jumpy at times, but this proves that Ace of Base put a real, and serious effort into their work, and for that, they should be proud. Give it up for Ace of Base!"

"The four tracks that are siphoned off the boring American release I downloaded from the website (legally). All the tracks that have met that "Cruel" fate could fill a whole CD or even a box set. They are also paydirt for bootleggers (I'm not condoning it at all). However, for the hard copy, it may be worth it."
