"This review is intended for those who arrived at this page knowing little or nothing about Acceptance. Of course, I don't know why you'd be reading it if you knew all about them...but whatever.

Acceptance is an amazing band. It's hard to put a specific genre on their music. It can be called emo, but anything thats not rap is called emo these days. It can be called rock, pop-rock, punk, pop-punk, whatever. It really doesn't matter.

The songs on this album are incredibly catchy and well-done as far as production goes. A great combination. I said before that this review is for those of you who are new to this band, so I would say that the first song you should sample is the first one on the CD, "Take Cover" Its probably the best song on the CD (its hard to tell, they're all amazing) but the thing and makes it so great is that its not a song that you have to listen to several time before you like it. One listen and its an instant favorite. After that, preview basically every song you can, because they are all really good. I know that sounds lame and repetative, but its true.

The CD features a good balance of songs. Its got fast songs, slow songs, and everything in between. (simple terms, i know) The tracks definitely sound different from each other. None of that running-together like you see on some other albums. The lyrics are pretty decent. Nothing lifechanging, but then again, I don't claim to be any sort of lyrical expert. They definitely dont ruin any of the songs, which lyrics can sometimes do.

Well....there you have it. Hopefully you now know what you are dealing with when you listen to Acceptance. They are a great band and I'm suprised that they are not bigger than they currently are. Oh well....its always nice to know a good band that no one else does!

A Surprise

"This was one of those CDs that I lumped into the "overhyped new rock band" category. I had heard of them through a friend and reluctantly got their CD. Well, sometimes your friends are right with regard to music. This is not exactly a brand-new style of music; catchy emo/rock has certainly been done before, but this is almost too catchy. It's impossible to get these songs out of your head. Plus, the lyrics are positive, yet not cheesy and sappy.

I would strongly recommend this to anyone who likes Dead Poetic, Anberlin, Mae, or whole emo/rock genre as a whole."
Amazing CD Overall!!!!

"Every song is catchy, exciting, well-written, and will stick with you for a long time. This is one of my favorite cd's of all time, and it will be one of yours also if you get it today!"
